Fire at Caps Cases
When fire strikes at a cardboard box factory the consequences can be disastrous.
Thanks to the diligence of our factory staff very little disruption was caused when one of our Marumatsu Die Cutters caught fire. The fire alarm was sounded and the factory was evacuated. Our trained fire fighters contained the fire using powder extinguishers and the fire brigade put the fire out. Due to the layout of our factories 80% of our production continued without any disruption.
The Marumatsu was damaged beyond economic repair and within 2 weeks of the incident a replacement machine was installed thanks to the excellent response of our Insurers Royal & Sun Alliance and Marumatsu agents Andrew & Suter.
