Caps Cases announce the purchase of a new 2-colour 2.9 metre Rotary Die Cutter for installation into the Newmarket factory in February 2000. This machine will significantly increase the company's capacity for die-cut work.

Caps Cases also announce the purchase of a Klett 2-colour 2.0 metre casemaker for installation into the Baillieston plant in January 2000.
